Webhooks

While you might not be familiar with the word Webhook, it could very well be your new best friend.

Engage is awesome. We’ll start with that. But there are a few other tools out there are that pretty killer in their own right. So, here at Engage we have an abundance mentality. We allow your account to talk with other systems. That ‘talking’ happens via Webhooks.

Other tools out there may support webhooks natively. Some support them through a service like Zapier. Regardless of how it’s set up, Engage allows you to communicate changes in a contact’s record with other systems.

Read on for some examples…

Sales Force & Webhooks

Sales Force & Webhooks

Some people just love our SMS & Phone functionality (it’s easy to understand why). We have more than a few users of Engage who utilize Sales Force for their primary CRM needs, but leverage the power of our SMS & Phone functionality. They use webhooks to communicate changes in the contact’s state back and forth between Engage and Sales Force!
MailChimp + Engage

MailChimp + Engage

So you’ve been using MailChimp and now you want to start generating leads with automated SMS using Engage. First, smart move. Second, use zapier to push new leads from Engage to MailChimp and initiate an email only sequence in MailChimp.
Ontraport & Webhooks

Ontraport & Webhooks

Much like with Sales Force. Some folks already have all their automation built out in Ontraport but want the highly advanced features that Engage offers. With webhooks through Zapier, they are able to pass new leads generated via our SMS functionality to Ontraport automation campaigns. They can also populate our web dialer with contacts from Ontraport at key moments when a phone call is in order.
GoToWebinar & Engage

GoToWebinar & Engage

So you run webinars? Awesome. Have GoToWebinar push folks who register for your webinar into Engage via Zapier webhooks. Oh wait, you wanted to register them via SMS using Engage? Great do that and have Zapier push the registration to GoToWebinar! Are you seeing the power of webhooks now?
